Money Coach closed testing uses Plaid Sandbox and fictional test-bank data. Do not use real bank credentials in Sandbox test flows.

Information you enter

Manual transactions, budgets, goals, notes, and imported CSV records are stored in the app storage of the browser or Android device you use. They are processed to calculate summaries and educational coaching insights.

Optional Plaid bank linking

If you choose to link a bank during closed testing, Plaid provides a Sandbox connection and fictional transaction data. Bank linking is optional. Reid & Wilson does not receive or store your bank username or password. A Plaid access token is kept only on the secured backend, encrypted at rest, and is not included in the Android app or website.

Storage and retention

Browser records remain in that browser through normal website updates unless you clear site data, use the delete feature, or remove the browser profile. Android records remain through normal app updates unless you clear app data or uninstall the app. A downloaded backup can be restored after device or browser changes. Server-side Sandbox sessions and encrypted Plaid connection data remain until they are disconnected or deleted.

Security

The public service uses HTTPS, restricts cross-origin access, and does not allow cleartext bank-linking traffic. Sensitive server tokens are encrypted. The Android app protects sensitive local data with Android Keystore-backed AES-GCM encryption and excludes protected records from device backup.

Sharing

Reid & Wilson does not sell Money Coach financial information. Service providers such as the website host, database host, Google Play, and Plaid may process limited information needed to operate and secure the service. Information may also be disclosed when legally required.

Your choices

You can use all core manual features without linking a bank. The Trust Center can export a backup, disconnect Plaid, and delete local and associated server-side data. Clearing browser storage or uninstalling the Android app also removes locally stored records.
